Visits & Tours
Visitors and tourists are welcome to visit the Omari Mosque anytime during its open hours. Brothers and sisters at the Mosque will be glad to guide visitors and tourists around the Mosque and will be ready to brief them on Islamic values and the Mosque’s history.
Out of respect for the house of God, Islamic values require some etiquette to be followed:
- You are kindly requested to take off your shoes and place them in their dedicated slots.
- You are kindly requested to refrain from any inappropriate language during the tour.
Females:
- Are kindly requested to put on the available robes at the Mosque’s gate and make sure to cover their hair.
Taking pictures in the Mosque premises is allowed as long as the privacy of others is respected.
Enjoy the tour and make sure to ask about the recently discovered Roman Court on the Mosque’s property!
